Day 6: Daily Democracy Challenge (40 Days 'til Election)

It's Day 6 of The Rabble podcast's Daily Democracy Challenge, where we count down 46 days of impactful-yet-achievable action items to flip Texas and elect our 46th president.

Only 40 more days until the election! We really love today's action because you can do it any time between now and October 1, you don't have to talk to anyone (go introverts!), you can bring your kiddos along with you, and it will make a BIG difference. 

TODAY'S ACTION:

The Texas Democratic party is trying to hang more than 800,000 voter registration forms on apartment door by October 1. This is crucial because we often don't have good data on folks in apartments -- they tend to move around really often, and don't always update their registration.

This is a project of the Texas Democratic Party (TDP) that's happening in the top 100 counties in Texas. To sign up to volunteer, you will need to contact your county's local Democratic Party, as each county is organizing locally. Not connect with your county's Democratic party? You should be! It's often the BEST way to organize locally in your community. Just Google your county + Democratic party and you'll find the right folks.
